In 2020, One80Place experienced a 46% increase in active caseloads — a staggering reflection of how the pandemic displaced families across South Carolina. An important part of their strategy is "diversion" — a client-driven approach to help households find immediate alternative housing rather than entering a shelter temporarily.
The goal is always to move people through and into stable, permanent housing as quickly as possible. New linens are part of what makes that transition feel real.
