When the Lahaina fires devastated Maui this past summer, our friends at The Maui Farm stepped up immediately. They offered to deliver bedding bundles from The Linen Closet to Lahaina families impacted by the disaster. We are incredibly thankful for their big hearts and partnership.
This collaboration is rooted in years of shared mission. In 2022, we were able to meet many of the kind people who work at The Maui Farm and deliver new sheets to them in person. That relationship made this moment of rapid response possible.
The Maui Farm empowers families and cultivates lives. At the heart of Maui, their transformative program touches the lives of women, their children, and future generations. Their work is not to be missed.
Disasters reveal the strength of a network. Because The Maui Farm was already a trusted partner, linens could move quickly to the people who needed them most — families who had lost nearly everything in the fires.
