The Maui Farm — Maui, Hawaii
We had the opportunity to deliver new sheets for an entire transitional shelter program in Maui, Hawaii.
The Maui Farm offers an incredible farm-based, family-centered program that promotes self-sufficient living so its residents may experience the fullness of life. This shelter is for single mothers — and their children — who have been victims of crime.
This beautiful farm program is supported by an outstanding team of women, some of whom we met during our visit: Ihilani (Farm Manager), Shaylisse (Programs Assistant), and Maria (Programs Director).
The Maui Farm offers an inspiring example of holistic living — healing both individuals and communities through the land, through work, through belonging. We are very thankful for their time and the tour of the farm.
