Gates of Grace Transitional Home for Women
Director Maudie Jordan cried when I called and asked if she needed new sheets.
She explained that earlier that same day, one of the residents had shared that her sheets were torn and falling off her bed during the night. Maudie said they were going to trust God for new sheets — and then The Linen Closet called that very day.
We delivered 11 new sheet sets for all the residents. Maudie told us they had never had new sheets at Gates of Grace before.
There are moments in this mission when the timing is so precise that it stops you. This was one of them. A woman's torn sheets. A prayer offered in faith. A phone call. Eleven new sets of sheets on the way.
