Emergency Support Shelter — Longview, Washington
Jill, Shelter Manager, works to ensure that women and children who come to the emergency shelter find a safe and warm welcome.
This 68-bed facility is a refuge for women — particularly during Covid, when reported violence within the home increased significantly. Women often arrive at this shelter with just a few belongings in a plastic bag.
The gift of beautiful linens reminds these women and children that they are valuable — especially when they feel unloved. This shelter handles overflow emergency needs from multiple counties and states.
In Shelter Manager Jill's own words: "The blankets and sheet sets are so needed, but your gift has an even bigger impact than that. Please never forget how grateful we all are."
