Cornerstone Rescue Mission — Rapid City, South Dakota

Deb Berg, Volunteer Coordinator, has worked at Cornerstone Rescue Mission for years — and she has a heart for serving the homeless.

Deb shared that they run three separate shelters, serving about 500 people a day. Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, they serve vulnerable women, children, and men across their network.

Approximately 1 in 5 Rapid City residents lives in poverty — that is 20% of the local population. Cornerstone's response is comprehensive: meals, shelter, clothing, case management, transportation to and from jobs, and Biblical counseling.

We delivered twin sheet sets and plan to continue supporting them in the future. The scale of their work is remarkable — and the need for quality bedding is constant when you are cycling hundreds of people through shelter every week.
