Central Park Place — Vancouver, Washington
Salmon Creek Plastic Surgery collected donations in December for The Linen Closet — and the results were remarkable.
The sheets, blankets, and towels collected by their team went to Central Park Place on the veteran's campus in Vancouver, Washington. The residents at Central Park Place are primarily previously homeless veterans and people with mental health challenges — individuals who have often carried more than most of us can imagine.
We are grateful for the partnership with our friends at Salmon Creek Plastic Surgery, whose care and kindness made this big delivery of comfort and love possible.
This is a story about community showing up for community. A plastic surgery practice, their clients, and a nonprofit — together providing warmth and dignity to the men and women who served our country and found themselves without a stable home on the other side.
